CBT for CHRp: Great training! Learned several new techniques to use with my patients and will start implementing these strategies right away!

CBT for CHRp: I was really pleased with the training – clear presentation from a very knowledgeable source.

CBT for CHRp: Given that it had to be done virtually, it went incredibly smoothly. I liked that there was a small number of participants, Dr. Riggs had a good system for using zoom (including ensuring that everyone was there for the whole time, protecting our security, and using breakout rooms for small group exercises and role plays). It’s not the same as being in the same room during a training, but it worked. It was nice to meet other people who are working in the CHR field. I also appreciated not having to travel out of state, and would not mind having the option to do future trainings virtually, once in-person is an option. It would have been a much more expensive investment and a more difficult decision as to whether to attend if I’d had to consider travel and room/board costs in addition to the program fee.

Advanced: I have taken multiple trainings with Dr. Riggs now and every time I am so impressed with how knowledgeable, approachable, and professional she is. I have learned so much about working with individuals who experience psychosis and it’s helped inform how I practice in the setting in which I work.

Advanced: This workshop was great. It met my expectations for an advanced CBTp workshop. I really appreciate how much practice/role-play was utilized throughout, as it will make me feel more able to utilize these new tools in the future.

Advanced: Great workshop – all the content was really concise and useful. Dr. Riggs did a wonderful job synthesizing the material and did not make it feel overwhelming.

Advanced: This advanced training was all about diving deeper into information I’d previously learned in her trainings. I also learned a lot of new CBTp techniques as well. I thought the advanced training was an excellent way to broaden my understanding of CBTp and how to apply it to clients with whom I work.

Group: Seminar was very well organized and helped me to conceptualize the key components of CBTp group therapy.

Group: Very fun, engaging and informative. I learned different ways to use language that’s not stigmatizing. Excellent workshop!
